I'm Jaime, Editor and Proofreader

I am a southern girl who loves books, baseball, and traveling. I prefer my reading material like my tacos: hot and spicy. When I’m not editing books, I am growing my travel advising business, Jaime Ryter with Magical Travel.

Sarcasm is my first language, but English is pretty cool, too. I love action movies and the ocean—but sand is straight from the devil himself. I’ve also never met a hot dog I didn’t devour—unless there’s sauerkraut… It’s gross and sounds like a breed of sewer rat.

Not that I’m bragging, but I began editing and proofreading in high school, where I would revise essays for classmates. This continued into college and graduate school, after which I began freelance editing and proofreading in the romance community.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Applied Leadership and Ethics with a minor in English. I also hold a Master of Healthcare Administration degree. (Gotta love student loan debt; am I right?) I am also a certified copyeditor and hold multiple certifications as a travel advisor as I love hanging certificates as opposed to traditional wall art. #professionalstudent
