I'm Jaime, Editor and Proofreader

I’m a Southern girl with a deep love for books, baseball, tacos, and travel. I adore action movies and the ocean, but let’s be clear: sand is straight from the devil himself.

Sarcasm is my first language, though I’m fluent in English, too. When I’m not editing books, I’m growing my travel advising business, Jaime Ryter with Magical Travel, helping clients plan trips that are just as thoughtfully crafted as a well-edited story.

My editing career started early. I began editing and proofreading in high school, revising essays for classmates, and carried that passion through college and graduate school. Afterward, I transitioned into freelance editing and proofreading within the romance community, where I now specialize in helping authors elevate their stories while preserving their unique voices.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Applied Leadership and Ethics and a minor in English, and I also hold a Master of Healthcare Administration. I’m a certified copyeditor and maintain multiple travel advisor certifications because I apparently collect credentials the way some people collect wall art. (#ProfessionalStudent)
